To rain or to reign

By this time tomorrow, the NFL will have already crown the NFC divisional champion. By thus time tomorrow we'll know whether the Rams are for real or still running on beginners luck.
The Saints on the other hand are hungry for a second title after breaking 38-year curse almost 10 years to the day.
But who deserves the conference crown? Both of them. Here's why.
The Saints come into this game at 13-3 (after an unconvincing victory over the Panthers). What does convince me though is the teams playmaking ability.  The Saints defense has got to stop the play action pass against Jared Goff and the Rams. Eli Apple will be on the lookout for any passes coming his way in the secondary.
The Rams deserve the crown because they've got more to prove. Young team anxious for a title and a reason for a parade.
Look for them to pass and play aggressive right after the anthem if they win the toss. SHOULD BE A GOOD AND LONG GAME.
WHO DAT! SCORE PREDICTION 32-41 SAINTS

Backwash

Given the Eagles record at the halfway mark this season, it didn't look as if they were headed to the playoffs but they got there and now its backwash. over. The Saints battled back to win this one 20-14 in the Mercedes Benz Superdome. The Saints didn't have it in the first half. Scoreless. But somehow they found themselves in the 3rd. The come back of 14 points was the biggest in the team's post season history.
Now they await the St.Louis Rams a week from today.

The Rams seem to still to be playing off beginners luck in their second season as they advance to the NFC Championship to face the Saints.  It won't be easy because the dome is not a good place to be if you're from St.Louis.

A toast to the entire Saints defense that stepped up big to hold the Rams to 2 touchdowns in the first half. They didn't score in the second half.

Best in the League

The Saints have the best record in the NFL at 13-2. They take on the Carolina Panthers up next. For much of the season HBICF has been talking Superbowl. Who Dat Nation is almost there.Divisional crown. Homefield advantage. But just three more things to check off the list... first-round bye.NFC Champs. And the Superbowl.
If anyone would have placed a bet on the Saints heading deep into the playoffs. I would call them foolish because I called that long ago.

who wants the low down on what will prolly happen? So with only one game left and the St.Louis Rams chasing them at 12-3, who's up for a old time NFC West showdown from 2000?
If the road to the Superbowl goes through New Orleans and the Rams send us to Atlanta, then I might be genius.
