First Pre-draft thoughts

What ever Drew Brees was to the Saints and what ever the Saints was to Brees, can't even compare to the savior that Joe Burrow will be to the Bengals. The showstopper he was to the LSU Tigers will carry on to the National Football League. What will be even more shocking is how the Bengals don't even know their 10-year worth on April 23rd.  Their lives are about to change...forever. At least in a few years. The confident first pick of the 2020 NFL draft will take the starting quarterback role. Then lead this team to a spotless season into the Superbowl and bring a Bayou Mardi Gras to Cincinatti. Now whether it's this season or two years from now, only time will tell.

Now if I'm right, Mighty Joe Millionaire Burrow will be as exciting as a Michael Vick in Atlamta. But If I'm wrong, Burrow will be like any other rookie in his first year.

Taking the starting role might take awhile. Perhaps we'll see him in the regular season around game 6 or he'll sit behind Andy Dalton for a season or two. One thing that's for certain is that he will be observing and he will be ready to go.

If it's one thing, I am confident about its that this guy will be a Superbowl Winning Quarterback in the next 5-7 years.

The team everyone including the Bengals should be watching for this season is the Atlanta Falcons.

Free agency starts in 10 days it'll be interesting to size up that NFL organizational flow chart swapping players who thought they were secure.

In Kansas City, Mahomes will make a run at it again and damn near succeed.

In New England, with the all the controversy surrounding Tom Brady's contract. If he slips away from the team look for him to don a  jersey in Miami or Jacksonville. But then again he might sign a 2-4 year mini contract worth $20-$30Million. Just my thoughts.

Cheers,

SC.

As of June 17, 2019, more than $664 million have been shelled out to former players of the National Football League. Twenty-thousand people have signed up for the litigation. Nearly 10,000 people have attended their BAP appointments. The League's settlement money is diminishing and the projections have surpassed their five year expectations. What happens if the money runs out? Well, my sources tell me that the league may provide up to $300 million more in an additional fund to extend the $1 Billion settlement. This money was supposed to last for 10 years.
